  Sad to see that in todays London Free Press that Don Thompson passed away at Parkwood hospital. Don was a great guy, served in 1 RCR from 1950 to 1975. Always smiling, a Korean Vet known for his cool demeanor and later, his snowy white beard. Rest in peace my freind..

My deepest condolences to Don,s family of his passing I hung out with Don,John McKenzie and Al Dore last time I was in Germany 62-65.Don was a great guy and will truly miss him as an old friend and buddy.May you R.I.P. and may God bless him.
