Roger.

The Niagara Branch, The RCR Assoc., with the PPCLI Association and the CAVUNP, will be parading with the firemen at the Highway 20/406 overpass. Cpl Crooks should arrive between 1630-1700 hrs. More details to follow re internment but I suggest that Branch shall hold a brief memorial services Wednesday night at the funeral home. naturally, all Royal Canadians in the region are invited to join us. At the moment, it is my intent to encircle the casket, remove headdress, recite the Lords prayer, a brief honourific followed by the regimental prayer, placement of poppies on the casket. Participation for Thursday has yet to be determined but I suggest we shall be forming up an honour guard on the street near the cemetery with the legion lads and the other military associations, More to follow.

For those of you who wish to attend, when you get to the bridge, look for the Regimental banners. We have two, one for branch, one for Regiment.

Well, our brother is finally home. Excellent turnout on the bridge from the branch for all of those who took the time out of their Saturday afternoon to welcome our brother home. The firedudes hoisted the regimental banner at the top of the ladde3r truck in respect. I will post pictures later this evening.
