I just had a note from Bob's daughter Tracy.
Bob Clark...known by many as "MFC" died peacefully in his sleep this morning at his home in Sooke.
He had been in and out of hospital in the past few months with leukemia
No details on funeral/memorial arrangements yet.
Bob served with the Regiment in Korea and was commissioned from MWO while serving with 3RCR in 1979 in Germany. He went on to serve as the Area Cadet Officer in Victoria, BC where he and Gardi established their home in Sooke. On retirement from the Regular Force Bob joined the CIC and served as CO of the Regional Cadet Staff. He was also active in local politics serving as the Regional Director (Mayor) of Sooke. Pro Patria Bob.
