Royal Canadian Regiment Photo: Stanley Barracks 1895

I have a photo from February 1895 of Royal Canadian Regiment. Looking for any information on background to this photo. It states it is "Room No. 2 Attached"

The following are in the photo:

1. Sergt. John Quinny Ottawa 43rd Rifles
2. Capt. Ed Nigh Aurora 12th Batt
3.  Pvt Jack Leith Hamilton 13th Batt
4. Pvt  Charles Hall Hamilton 13th Batt
5. Ptv  John N. Sills Tweed 49th Batt
6. Sergt. Frank Clement Sydenham, 47th Batt
7.Corpl  James Evely Black Creek 44th Batt
8  Ptv William Salter Ottawa GGF
9. Murray Owen Sound

Since each name is followed by a Militia regimental title, it is likely a group that were attached to the Regiment for instruction at the time.
