Passing Of Raymond Young

For those who knew him.. Raymond Young passed away on Sun May, 8 2011, age 61. Ray served in 1 RCR up until the move to Petawawa at which time he took his retirement.  A Memorial Tea will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1997 Dundas St. E ,on Thursday May 12 from 6-8 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Diabetes Association

Sorry to hear of Ray's passing. We attended the Infantry 6B in Gagetown (same section) and SLC in Borden at the same time in the early 80's. Ray was a "character" and a great guy and I still vividly remember passing his syndicate room on the SLC while he was giving a presentation, and hearing him tell one of the other candidates that he would "rip his throat out if he didn't shut up"!

Rest in peace Ray and condolences to his family.
