From The Connecting File, Vol VI, No. 2, June 1927:
Full Dress Uniform AgainThe 2nd July, 1927, will be an eventful date in the lives of many members of "A" Company
[then at Halifax, NS], permission having been granted for twenty-five N.C.O.'s and men of the unit to wear "FULL DRESS" uniform for the purpose of taking part in the Jubilee Confederation Celebrations.
This will be the first occasion that any members of the Regiment at this station have worn "FULL DRESS" during the last thirteen years, and the sight of the historic and ever-popular "Scarlet" again in the streets of Halifax will bring back memories of pre-war days to many of the "old hands."
