A good friend of mine passed away last night.
Don and two of his kids where on there way home from St-John when they
hit a moose. Don spent at least 26 years with the RCR and many of them
with 2 RCR. I am pretty sure he was a member of the RCR association.
I am not sure what could or should be done at this point for his wife.
The residence address is 31 Legere St (off Glasier Rd off Lincoln Rd.)
and the phone number is 450-1901.

Attended the Legion tribute for Donny, there was a quite a turn out from the Legion, Black Watch Association and the RCR Association. He will be laid to rest tomorrow with a military funeral provided by 2 RCR. Rest in peace brother.

May you rest in peace Donny.  I sure I speak for a lot of people that were under his command at one time or another, I new him better after spending 6 months in Cyprus 77/78 with 2 RCR, "H" Coy,  Donny was love not only for his laughs and jokes, but also as leader and as a father figure to all that were newly arriving in the BN in his Coy and Pl..
My heart go's out to the family.
