Colour Photos from 2RCR, Fort York, Spring 1970

Once again, Al Ditter (Aldi) has allowed me to place items from his collection on our forum.  All of these photographs are dated from the Spring of 1970 and were taken at Fort York, Germany.

The first is of the Corps of Drums, in Battledress, parading through the camp.

This photo shows WO Bernie Skehen (late The Canadian Guards) addressing the Corps of Drums.

The last photo is of Call Sign 33.

I hope Al continues to provide us with more 'stuff' from his time in.

For historical purposes, the Corps of Drums was No. 3 Platoon, C Company . . . Callsign 33.  aldi

Great pictures, Al. As discussed, I will copy them over to RCR Data base after Dan posts. Oh, when I get down there next fall, I will show you how to work photobucket... before we engage in those frothy coolies! ;-)
