Information from Mr Jackson Jennings.

"I only wanted to inform the Regiment that (I believe a 2RCR ex-member)
passed away 26 August 09.

Cpl Harv Hymann (Ret'd), Owen Sound, ON

Funeral arrangements:

The visitation for Harvey is at the Milroy Funeral Home in Port Elgin on
Friday, 28 August 2-4pm & 7-9 pm with the Legion memorial service at 6:45.

Funeral Service is on Saturday at 11 am.

Cpl. Harvey George Hymenn was just 56 years old when he passed on.
We here at the Waterloo Wellington North Branch will be taking time to remember.

Harvey Hymmen



Peacefully at the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton on Tuesday, August 25th, 2009 in his 56th year, Harvey Hymmen of Port Elgin. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Killam). Dear stepfather of Michael and Christopher (Dowler) Weiss. Beloved son of Jeanette Hymmen of Port Elgin and the late George H. Hymmen. Loving brother of Jennifer and her husband George DeGennaro of Port Elgin. Proud Grampa of five. Dear uncle of Lisa and Troy DeGennaro, and Alice and Lee Hymmen. Harvey will be deeply missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his half brother Peter Hymmen.

Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill St., Port Elgin from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. on Friday, August 28th, 2009. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Margaret Greenhow and the Rev. Robert Widdowson officiating.

Private family interment.

Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation for the Palliative Care Room would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.The Royal Canadian Legion Br. #340, Port Elgin will hold a memorial service in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 6:45 p.m.

A belated Memorial Service was held at the Waterloo Wellington North Branch on Saturday 12 September 09 for Cpl Harvey George Hymenn. The Service was in the Regimental style. At picture of Cpl Harvey Hymenn was placed in front of the wreath.

We also wish to thank the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #340 Port Elgin for the service they provided for our brother.
