Passing - Cpl Thomas Stirling

The Regiment regrets to inform you of the passing of retired Cpl Thomas Jared Stirling.  Cpl Stirling left the CF in 2007. He has a wife Barbara and 2 children ages 4(daughter Jayda Marie) and 9 (son Jared Thomas). Cpl Stirling had 2 tours in Afghanistan (27 Jul-4 Oct 03 and 1 Aug 06-15 Feb 07). He was wounded in the 2 Oct incident that killed Sgt Short and Cpl Beerenfenger. His family is currently residing in Crossfield , AB.

They went with songs to battle, they were young
Straight of limb, true of eye, steady and aglow.
They stood staunch to the end against odds uncounted,
They fell with their faces to the foe


Rest in Peace, brother. My condolences to the family and friends, of whom I know there are many.

Be advised that Thomas was also the president of the Calgary Chapter of the Falcons MC Veteran Canada at the time of his passing. Condolences may be posted here.
