The RCR Museum, in London is putting together a number of exibits for display throughout the units of the Regiment. The idea is to actually set up these travelling exibits in the battalion lines, so that soldiers of the Regt, who normally don't get to visit London, still can see what the RCR Museum has to offer.

The overall theme is the UN and NATO operations in a number of different locations. Right now the plan is to have a display covering each of the following subjects:  Op Snowgoose, (Cyprus), Op Halo, (Haiti), Op Palladium (Bosnia-Herzegovina) and the Cold War.

Although the Regimental Museum has a good deal of material for a "Cyprus" display and a "Cold War" display, there is very little in the way of display exibits for any of the operations conducted in Haiti or anywhere in the Balkan States.  The Museum is particularly interested in suitable display material from former members of Op Alliance, OP Palladium, Op Harmony, etc..., in Bosnia-Herzegovina and the Croatian areas of operation.   They are also very interested in material which could be displayed for Op Halo, in Haiti.

If there is anyone out there who has memorabilia they would be willing to give to the museum on long term loan their assistance would be greatly appreciated. I stress again that this would be a long term loan to the museum and once the displays ended the material would be returned.

If you can help please contact Mr. Claus Breede, the Curator of the RCR Museum at the following E mail address:  Claus.Breede@forces.gc.ca
