M 10 Achilles

Hello ist there somebody that cant help me I have a M 10 Achilles MFRS serial no 4347 and Order serial no 7279 built in 1943 numberplat S290465 or mayby were i cant get some informastion, picture i am from danmark thanks Henrik

I don't recognize the Achilles but it looks to be a light-, or at best a medium-class, tank and, judging by the tread pattern, I would guess it is an American design.  I would suggest you check the archives of Jane's Weapons of the World.  You have the manufacture date and that should help with the search.  Good luck.  aldi

The M-10 is a tank destroyer WW2 era and was featured on the history channel, where they rebuild tanks. It was a fast tank with an open turret. Please correct me if i am wrong.
