Ranges - Niagara on the lake

Here are some pictures of what the ranges look like today.

Mike I had the honour of firing at that range in the very early 60's and with FM's of course.

I fired a 30 cal. GPMG with a cloth belt and a Bren Gun in 1971 at this range with The Royal Hamilton Light Infantry, a lot of good times . The butts were the original ones were we were still using Glue Pots and " Maggies Drawers " for misses !  Tony

Played out there for 5 years, (73-78 Lincs and Winks) that gravel road hasnt changed. I spent many restful hours watching the lake for boats inside the range markers....sun tanning station's

I remember using those ranges back in the mid 1960's with the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry, is DND still using those ranges. ??

Well, Tom, last I heard the land was transferred to parks Canada and soon will be turned into some kind of outdoor entertainment venue.
